Yamhill Punch 2019 Barrel Aged American Wild Ale, 8.3% ABV
An ode to the lighter things of Yamhill County. 100% Millet malt, Hüll Melon hops, and co-fermented with Müller-Thurgau grapes. Spontaneaously fermented with the native grape yeast for 3 months in stainless, then aged in Chardonnay barrels for 9 more months before blending with sour fermented peaches and yellow plums. Bright aromas of ripe peach and lemon sorbet, with a floral earthiness. Loaded with tart peach and tropical fruit flavors. A crisp, full beer that encapsulates harvest time in Yamhill County.
Batch 1 Barrel Aged Imperial Stout 13% ABV:
This beer is liquid luxury. Brewed with mexican raw sugar and cinnamon, it then spent 3 months mellowing in stainless steel before cozying up inside some freshly emptied apple brandy barrels for 7 months. Aromas of cinnamon, caramel apples, and rum soaked dates lead to rich flavors of brownie batter, spiced dark cherries, and bakers cocoa. Ending with a warm, oaky, brandy like finish.
Grandpa’s Nap, Whiskey Barrel Aged Millet Wine, 11.5% ABV: A whiskey forward beer aged in KOVAL Distilling oat and millet whiskey barrels. The El Dorado hop's candied strawberry character compliments the toasted coconut and vanilla qualities the barrel imparted, making for a decadent aroma. Not too sweet, with a light, oaked toffee quality that’s cut by assertive hoppiness from that El Dorado. This big beer is a sneaky little night cap, not just for grandpa's, but for anyone wanting to try something unique and innovative in the ever changing world of craft beer. Bottled in large format to encourage sharing.
